Alex is a global Finance and Compliance leader with more than 20 years of Manufacturing industry experience. He started his career as an Auditor with Deloitte & Touche in 1992 where he built a solid foundation in auditing and internal controls. He left Deloitte as a Senior Manager and  later joined  Samsung Electronics in 2002 as Operations Controller. As a Controller he provided operational controls management at multiple production facilities and the Korea headquarter. Oversaw the general ledger, treasury, credit and collection, account payables, payroll, fiscal, cost and materials department. Reported US GAAP financial statement, budget and forecasts. Participated in procedure automations. He joined Johnson Controls in 2004 and held several Finance leadership roles (North America Governance Controller, Americas Finance Governance and Compliance Director). He has leadership experience in Implementation of internal controls based on SOX requirements using COSO Framework. He has provided business support in the implementation/conversion process as subject matter expert for all automated procedures (SAP platform S/4 HANA and HFM) and making sure all ITGCs are in place and tested.
